Psychotherapy, or also known as talk therapy, is a method of helping various patients with broad mental illnesses or emotional difficulties. Through talk therapy, patients get to eliminate or control troubling symptoms that the patient is facing every day. And because of this control and elimination, they can have a better chance of increasing their wellness and healing.

My psychotherapy sessions are often used when I have patients who are dealing with the following:

  • Loss of a loved one
  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Inability to cope with everyday stress and problems
  • Substance abuse
  • Among others

During these sessions, I encourage patients to talk about what worries them and why they are feeling that way. And based on their circumstance or condition, we can continue with a form of psychotherapy that is best for them.
